Successful MGB contract drives Edinburgh recycling success

A recent contract to supply and distribute bins in Edinburgh has lead to huge increase in recycling across Edinburgh.

In the first stage of the project 140,000 households received new 240-litre recycling bins, leading to an 85% rise in the amount of waste being recycled, with a huge reduction in the amount of waste going to landfill.

Speaking to the Edinburgh Evening News, MGB General Manager Ross Schofield said,

We couldn’t be happier with the results of the new scheme for Edinburgh council and look forward to extending it’s reach further across the city.
