On the 7th January, we have an unannounced visit from the HSE to carry out a spot check on our Covid procedures and practices ensuring that we, as a business, are staying Covid safe.
We are pleased to announce that due to our employee’s efforts, the inspector was thrilled to see the measures our Rotherham facility and our office has put in place to ensure we are striving to keep everyone safe during this pandemic.
Here’s what he had to say: “Just to confirm, I completed a COVID Spot Check on behalf of the Government’s Health and Safety Executive on Thu 7 Jan 2021 at your premises on Barbot Hall Industrial Estate in Rotherham.
The Spot Check consists of assessing the response to a number of questions, to determine if businesses are following Government guidance about risk assessment, cleanliness and social distancing in the workplace. It also includes a visual check to confirm that appropriate measures are in place to protect workers and, if appropriate, visitors and customers whilst they are at the business premises.
I am happy to confirm that in all respects, your business is following the appropriate guidance. I could see that a great deal of effort has been made by the management team and by all the workers to ensure that your business is a safe place to work, and that everything is being done to minimise the risk of infection from COVID at the business.”
We would like to thank all our employees for their continued hard work and dedication during this unprecedented time, and we would like to extend our best wishes to you all too.
By sanitising regularly, and following government guidelines, we’re keeping ourselves, colleagues and families safe.
